Admission requirements for PhD in physical Education<\/span><\/p>\n

Article (22): <\/span>Aswan University Council grants PhD according to the request of faculty of Physical Education Council in one of the determined specializations<\/span><\/p>\n

Article (23):<\/span> Study Duration to obtain PhD in physical and sports education should not be less than three years from Enrollment date, It can be extended on a proposal of the supervisor after being approved by the department and faculty.<\/span><\/p>\n

Article (24):<\/span> A student must be enrolled to get PhD at the following conditions:<\/span><\/p>\n

1- Student should have a Master degree in physical and sports education from one of the Egyptian universities or an equivalent degree from a recognized faculty or scientific institute<\/span><\/p>\n

2- student should Apply to the faculty for enrollment then it is presented to Department council for presenting opinion before it is presented to Faculty council.<\/span><\/p>\n

3- Student should successfully pass the PhD qualifying test in accordance with the rules approved by the Faculty Council and the PhD qualifying test regulation.<\/span><\/p>\n

3-Student should pay the tuition fees that is determined by University for all Egyptian and foreign students<\/span><\/p>\n

4- In addition to what the faculty Council adds other conditions for selection between applicants to choose the required numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Article (25):<\/span> Research topic enrollment:<\/span><\/p>\n

Research topic enrollment will be after passing the first semester of PhD with Accumulative rate more than (2) and for language test (TOEFL) and seminar, the university rules will be applied and the discussion will be after two years from the accreditation date of University vice president for graduate studies to register the topic, it is permissible to extend the registration duration according to the supervisor proposal and approval of department and faculty council for one year and renewable one more time after the paying tuition fees.<\/span><\/p>\n

Article (26):<\/span> Conditions for granting PhD in Physical Education<\/span><\/p>\n

Researcher should continue study for three years at least according to the following procedures:<\/span><\/p>\n

1-Student should pass the exams of study courses which determined by faculty council according to accredited hours in regulation schedules not more than (6) semesters and the faculty council\u00a0 can remove or add any courses in future according to scientific department councils<\/span><\/p>\n

2 – Presenting an innovative scientific research (in light of department research plan) represents a new scientific addition to a subject approved by the faculty Council based on the proposal of the relevant department council provided that the researcher presents the results of his research in a Thesis discussed publicly and accepted by Discussion Committee .<\/span><\/p>\n

3-If the subject of the search changes substantially, the approval date of Vice president of graduate studies and research is the new registration date and the student has the right to amend only once.<\/span><\/p>\n

4- research supervisory committee shall submit a semi-annual report on the student’s progress in his research and presenting a report of validity of thesis to department council to present it to Discussion Committee<\/span><\/p>\n

5-The Discussion committee shall return the letter to its owner to complete the shortage and give him the chance to modify it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Article (27):<\/span> the student enrollment shall be cancelled in PhD in the following cases:<\/span><\/p>\n

1-If he does not pass the prescribed exams according to accredited hours in this regulation.<\/span><\/p>\n

2-If the student does not get the degree within five years from the date of enrollment, the faculty Council may approved the extension of the registration period and renewed once .<\/span><\/p>\n

3-If the Discussion and Judgment Committee rejects the thesis at all and requests to cancel its registration<\/span><\/p>\n

4-If supervisory committee submits two consecutive reports on the lack of seriousness of the student in the research, after the approval of the relevant department council, faculty Council and notify the student officially.<\/span><\/p>\n

5-If the student applies to cancel his registration or withdraw his file or drop out of study for two academic years.<\/span><\/p>\n
