The Aswan University Council No. (103) convened today headed by Prof. Ahmed Ghalab Mohamed, President of Aswan University, \u00a0prof. Ayman Othman, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and prof<\/strong>. Magdi Muhammad Ali, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and in the presence of the university president’s advisors and faculty deans.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The \u00a0council was inaugurated by Dr. Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed, President of the University, by welcoming the attendees, members of the Council.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

University President Ahmed Ghellab Mohamed confirmed that all precautionary measures have been applied to confront the Covid 19 in the various committees of the university’s faculties.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This comes as part of the university\u2019s plan in preparation for the launch of the marathon for the first semester exams, scheduled starting next Saturday, February 27, 2021.<\/strong>This is in accordance with the regulations and directives of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Supreme Council of Universities, according to the examination schedules announced in the various colleges.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Ahmed Ghallab added that we are working to observe the standards of justice and compassion in order to facilitate the university students.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to work to carry out \u00a0the plan of Aswan University to ensure the proper functioning of the work of the first semester exams by providing well-ventilated halls for examination committees and taking into account the social spacing of one and a half meters between each student, with wearing medical masks and measuring the temperature of students in various colleges and with the application of all precautionary measures in light of facing a virus The new Corona, in the interest of the safety of students, the teaching staff, their assistants and all employees at Aswan University, and working to harness all the university’s capabilities to conduct the exams, through the success of the first semester exams during \u00a0the exceptional circumstances which the country is going through.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The council reviewed the most important construction projects at the university that are going in the university \u00a0campus of \u00a0Sahari and the university campus in New Aswan, as well as all medical facilities in university hospitals and specialized medical centers at the university in New Aswan, which is being implemented and will represent a qualitative transfer to the medical and health system in southern Upper Egypt.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Including what was recently opened, the Central Care Unit, which includes 10 beds, to serve patients in Aswan.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And the University Hospital in Aswan, adding about 300 beds b<\/strong>y adding many operating rooms, intensive care and other medical services.<\/strong>85% of the Internal \u00a0Hospital construction project has been implemented.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0Internal \u00a0Hospital consists of 5 floors. The hospital includes 150 beds distributed in general and private internal medicine departments, brain, nerves, heart, tumors, thoracic, dermatological and physiotherapy departments.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0also \u00a0a project to establish a reception and emergency hospital, which consists of \u00a04-floors as a reception and emergency hospital. It will also include another 150 beds in the departments of surgical operations, trauma emergency, intensive care, radiology and laboratories.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And work to end the current expansion projects, As well as equipment for the central restaurant, dining halls, sterilization rooms, central laundries, and housing for doctors in the outpatient building. And the development of the orthopedic, internal and urology departments.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Council approved the appointment of a number of staff and their assistants in the positions of teacher and assistant professor and the award of academic degrees.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
