On the evening yesterday, Monday, Prof.Ayman Othman-Aswan University President witnessed the events of the presidential initiative ”Sports is A National Security” in the attendance of Dr. Adel Makki, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Dr. Abdel Hakim Rizk, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education in Assiut, and Dr. Abdel Rahman Abdel Basset, former Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, and an elite of leaders of the sports community which comes within the framework of implementing the initiative of President/Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, “Sport is a national security”, Faculty of Physical Education-Aswan University carried out it under the auspiece of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the patronage of Dr. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of the University, Dr. Muhammad Sobhi Hassanein, Deputy Minister of the Universities Sports Federation, and Dr. Hisham El-Gyoushi, Secretary of the Universities Sports Federation.
Dr. Ayman Mahmoud Othman indicated the importance of sports in the students’ life and apply it as a lifestyle within the events of the celebration of the international day of anti-corruption and the celebration of the national day of people with special needs( people of determination), among the initiative of His Excellency President of the Republic” Sports is national security” in the attendance of students of university and students of the faculty of physical education.
Within the light of the celebration of the international day in the field of drying up the sources of corruption and working on fighting it, raising awareness to the indicators of measuring and understanding the corruption and publishing social awareness through ”Applied Sports Festival” to celebrate with this occasion in the light of the social awareness for our students and academic staff and their assistants under the slogan of “Preserve your right – play your role – say no to corruption” that’s held under the supervision of Dr. Adel Makki-Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Dr. Hazem Abdullah Al-Jamal-Chairman of Anti-Corruption Committee and Dean of the Faculty of Alsun.
Dr. Adel Makky added that at the end of sports day these events come under the slogan of “Preserve your right – play your role – say no to corruption” to raise awareness of students and the community about the dangers of corruption that eliminates the institutions, also the celebration includes the participation of the top students with special needs and honor them with and establish the applied day of the Administration and Sports Promotion Department at the stadium of the Faculty of Physical Education in Sahary, among high students’ attendance, academic staff and their assistants in the faculty and the hosts of the faculty from the faculties of the Physical Education, with presenting sports and plastic shows combat the corruption with all its images and shapes and student bear slogans express anti-corruption.
