The events of the celebrations of Aswan University for the tenth anniversary of its establishment, coincide with the celebrations of the Egyptian people on the anniversary of the June 30 revolution, which are held under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of the University, confirmed that the Faculty of Physical Education, led by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Adel Mohamed Abdel Moneim Makki, organized a sports celebration on Thursday, with the participation of academic staff and civil society represented by sports institutions in Aswan Governorate, in light of the university’s 10th-anniversary celebrations. Its establishment, which was launched last Sunday and concluded on Thursday, with the participation of its faculties and the University Hospital in Aswan, its effectiveness, and various services to the internal and external community in Aswan.
Dr. Adel Mohamed Abdel Moneim Makki, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, added that the day began with Science Day and the national anthem of our beloved Egypt. It also included an introductory speech narrating the history of Aswan University, since it was a branch of Assiut University and then South Valley University until it became independent in 2012 thanks to the efforts of the former Aswan University presidents and the current ones, civil society and natural leaders in Aswan Governorate, then the activities included sports activities represented in some football and volleyball matches and artistic and rhythmic gymnastics.
