In frame of carrying out Egypt 2030 vision, and activating to ”New Beginning for Building Human Being-Sports is National Security” initiative of H.E. President ”Abdel Fattah el-Sisi”, Aswan University organizes ” the 2nd Forum of Sports Engineering” on Wednesday corresponding to 21/5/2025 at Field Marshal Tantawi’s conferences at the headquarter in Sahari.
This forum comes in light of the cooperation between :
-Faculty of Sports Sciences
-Faculty of Energy Engineering
-Faculty of Engineering
It seeks to investigate the integration of engineering, technology, and sports science principles in order to assist sporting innovation and development from a scientific engineering standpoint.
Axes of the forum:
-Applying the engineering principals in designing and developing (clothes-shoes-paddles-balls-..) by using safer and more efficient materials.
-Developing sports building by designing smart playground and improving systems of lighting and ventilation.
-Analyzing athletes performances by using sensors and tracking technologies to improve training and viral response.
-Developing performance and safety criteria for athletic equipment and facilities.
-Creating training tools and techniques to support athletes and coaches.
-Providing work prospects for graduates in this critical profession.
-Introducing interface academic programs for bachelor and postgraduate stage in sports engineering.
This forum is considered unique scientific platform that symbolizes Aswan University’s mission in supporting integrity between specializations and enforcing the applied scientific research to advance sustainable development goals.
