As part of “A New Beginning for Human Development” initiative, also known as Bedaya of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and under the patronage of Prof. Louai Saad Al-Din Nasrat, President of Aswan University, Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Prof. Ashraf Emam, Vice- President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and under the supervision of Prof. Adel Mohamed Abdel Moneim Mekki, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, in the participation of the faculty’s vice deans and academic staff , the Faculty of Physical Education at Aswan University organized a student camp for the third year.
The events, held on the faculty’s sports fields, featured a morning assembly and the flag salute, with students chanting the national anthem in a solemn patriotic atmosphere. The occasion was attended by representatives of the Egyptian Armed Forces, the Directorate of Youth and Sports, members of parliament, a delegation from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, a delegation from the Catholic Church in Aswan, as well as deans of various faculties and institutes.
The organization of this camp underscores the role of the Faculty of Physical Education at Aswan University as a beacon of sports and cultural activities within the Aswan community, and highlights its effective contribution to nurturing student awareness while strengthening their sense of belonging and loyalty to the homeland.
