As a continuation of participation of Aswan University delegation, headed by Prof /Ahmed Ghellab Mohamed – Aswan University President _ in the event of the first universities week hosted by Sohag University to enhance youth role and student participation, in which the university participates.
Under patronage of Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed, Aswan University President, who announced that Dr. Maha Taha won the first place in Tennis championship on Tanta University,
Aswan University won second place in chess championship at the level of participating universities.
Captain / Ali Said won the second place in the men’s table tennis championship on Assiut University.
Aswan University won the third place in the running marathon as well, and it participates with a delegation of Academic staff, students and employees with the aim of participating in sports, cultural and social activities, and working to compete in all activities and getting advanced places among the participating universities.
Prof/ Ehab Refaat – Communications Officer and General Coordinator added that Aswan University delegation participates in the first university week in Sohag, which will be held from 8th to 14th February 2020.
The university also achieved a great winning by Salim Mahrous, in second place in chess championship after a difficult match with the Sohag university player in the final match. Prof/ Ahmed Aziz –Sohag University President congratulated Aswan University player after losing from Sohag University player and getting second place in chess championship.
