The Faculty of Physical Education, Aswan University: organizes the First Forum for The Employment of Students and Graduates in Cooperation with The Ministry of Youth and Sports

    Today, Thursday, the activities of the first forum for the employment of students were launched under the title “Decent job opportunities for young people to provide a decent life”, which is organized by the Faculty of Physical Education, Aswan University in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Prof. Dr. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of Aswan University, welcomed the attendees and expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports for their great support for the establishment of this forum in Aswan University, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Sobhi Hassanein, First Vice President of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation and Dr. Arafa Salameh, Secretary General of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, Dr. Maha Al-Saghir, member of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, Dr. Maged Al-Azzazi, President of the Union of Youth Centers and Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Suez Canal University, and Dr. Hatem Hosni, professor at Sadat University and the international expert for water sports, with the participation of a number of organizations and community companies to provide opportunities Decent work for youth represented by the National Communications Authority, Umm Habiba Foundation, Businessmen Association, Tourism Workers Association, Southern Women’s Foundation, Jacob Photography Company, Social Solidarity Unit at the university, and many moreRepresentatives of sports federations and many sports clubs and youth centers.

Dr. Mohamed Sobhi Hassanein, First Vice-President of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research pays great attention to sports and the extent of fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to create a new generation capable of competing among the youth of universities around the world. Aswan University was able to take the lead in translating the presidential initiative Sport is national security, and through this forum, we are keen to provide job opportunities for students and link graduates to the labor market in light of the changes in digital and electronic technology around the world, which reduce the use of the human element at work in light of the tremendous development that the world is witnessing in digital transformation.

Dr. Adel Makki, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Aswan University, indicated that the events of the forum began with the national anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt, then the recitation of the Noble Qur’an, then a documentary film was shown about the forum, which is being organized for the first time at the Faculty of Physical Education, Aswan University.
Dr. Adel Makki, Dean of the College, stressed that the forum aims to create job opportunities for students and graduates through the offers of sponsoring and supporting companies in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in light of the available job opportunities according to their qualifications and training experience according to their desires and future needs in the available sectors. The activities of the first recipient to employ students continue. Aswan Bilad Gold during the period from February 24 to 26, 2022 in the context of the political leadership’s interest in youth.

And Dr. Arafa Salameh, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, explained that the events of the forum will be completed today by holding a group of workshops in Aswan clubs. At the end of the days of the forum, the third day of the employment fair will be held, in the presence of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, in Aswan University.
The forum’s rapporteur, Dr. Muhammad Hamid, also welcomed a poetic paragraph to welcome the guests of the conference, the president of the university, and the dean of the college. This was followed by lyrical and folk performances by the Hakawy and Ghanawy bands, then the forum’s symposiums began until the end of the first day yesterday, and the activities continue until the closing day next Saturday.
