The Meeting of Teaching Assistant Members At the Faculty of Physical Sciences

A meeting was held today, chaired by Prof. Adel Mohamed Abdel Moneim Makki, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by Prof. Mustafa Gomaa, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, at 2:30 PM, with the participation of assistant lecturers and demonstrators.

The meeting addressed several important topics, in particular:

  • Strengthening internal monitoring and oversight of the educational process within the faculty.
  • Announcing the “Empowerment for People with Disabilities” initiative, which is scheduled to be implemented next Sunday.
  • Encouraging teaching assistants to enroll in specialized training courses and join professional associations relevant to their fields.
  • Emphasizing the vital role of teaching assistants in academic advising, supporting students in their studies, and helping them overcome academic challenges – thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of the educational process.
  • Confirming that the faculty’s academic programs will resume soon.

The Dean also announced that athletic uniforms for first-year students will be distributed through the faculty. He stressed the importance of ensuring that all textbooks and course materials are made available on the faculty’s official online platform, noting that the circulation of any external books or notes is strictly prohibited to maintain content consistency and fairness for all students.

The meeting further emphasized the importance of preserving faculty equipment and property, as well as developing research and scientific topics that meet seminar admission standards, with the aim of enhancing research quality and fostering academic creativity.

It was also affirmed that publishing research—in either Arabic or a foreign language—is a prerequisite for obtaining Master’s and Doctoral degrees, as part of the faculty’s commitment for advancing scientific research and supporting postgraduate studies.

In addition, students were reminded to maintain a neat and appropriate appearance, reflecting the discipline expected of students in the Faculty of Physical Sciences. Appropriate measures will be taken against those who fail to comply with these regulations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean expressed his appreciation to all attendees for their efforts, underscoring the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and collective responsibility in serving the educational process and elevating the faculty’s overall performance.
