As part of Aswan University’s celebrations of the Glorious October Victory, the Faculty of Sports Sciences, in cooperation with the Egyptian Armed Forces, organized a Sports Day on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the faculty’s sports fields.
The event was honored by the presence of Prof. Loay Saad El-Din Nosrat, President of Aswan University; Prof. Adel Mohamed Abdel-Moneim Makki, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences; and Prof. Mustafa Gomaa, Vice Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
A number of academic staff, teaching assistants, administrative staff, and university students also took part in the celebration.
Participants from the university and the Armed Forces engaged in a variety of sports competitions, including football, volleyball, tennis, and basketball, in an atmosphere of sportsmanship, cooperation, and national pride.
At the conclusion of the event, attendees expressed their joy in taking part in this special occasion, which reflects the spirit of the Glorious October Victory and reaffirms the determination and resolve of Egypt’s youth to uphold the nation’s honor and dignity.
