Faculty of Physical Education-Aswan University: the conclusion of the first forum for employing students and graduates in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth &Sports

Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, Aswan University President, stated that concluded today, Saturday, the events of the first forum for employing students and graduates in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth &Sports entitled ”Appropriate Opportunities for Youth for Providing A Dignified Life” that organized by the Faculty of Physical Education, Aswan University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth &Sports the first forum for employing students (Aswan Land of Gold); this forum comes in the light of the initiative of the President Abdul Fattah Al Sisi to provide appropriate opportunities for youth for a dignified life, in participation with 6 border provinces.

Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, Aswan University President, welcomed the attendance and directed his thanks and appreciation to Dr.Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, for their great effort to hold this forum in Aswan University in the attendance of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Major General Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, Dr. Mohamed Sobhi Hassanein, First Vice President of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, and Dr. Arafa Salameh, Secretary-General of the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, and several of public figures and several of the leaders of the Ministry of Youth& Sports and heads of specific federations, Prof. Adel Makky-Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Aswan University.

 Prof. Adel Makky-Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education added that the fair of operating, marketing, and training for students and graduates on the sidelines of the final conclusion of the border provinces; and the recommendations of the first forum for employing were held with directing a thanks letter for His Excellency President Abdul Fattah Al Sisi-President of the Arabic Egyptian Republic from the Land of Gold by carrying out the presidential initiative that Your Excellency launched it to provide appropriate opportunities-For A Dignified Life (Hayaa Karima).

Also, the Faculty of Physical Education declared its full support to the wise political leadership that’s represented in each hand extends to build, develop and update in all fields, especially in the sporting field to raise the prestige of our beloved Egypt in the light of the events that carried out through the third forum where the management of the forum recommends:

-Seeking to provide job opportunities to the sporting field for students and graduates by working on qualifying them for the labor market (local-international) and benefiting from the capabilities of Aswan.

-Holding a cooperation agreement with the labor institutions on operating and qualifying students.

-Holding training courses for students and graduates in the field of training, judging, and administration.

-Creating a bond for graduates and following them by providing jobs appropriate to their capabilities.

It’s also done by the participation of a number of authorities and social companies to provide appropriate opportunities for youth represented in the National Communication Authority, Umm Habiba Foundation, Businessmen Association, Tourism Workers Association, South Canoe, and Kayak Branch, and Upper Egypt Swimming Branch. 

Dr. Adel Makkay, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr.Mohamed Hamed Fathi, Forum Rapporteur, confirmed that the forum aims to create job opportunities for students and graduates by the offers of the sponsor and supporting companies in cooperation with The Ministry of Youth and Sports in light of the available job opportunities according to their qualifications and training experience, according to their desires and future needs in the available sectors. The activities of the first recipient to employ students, Aswan, the country of gold, continue during the period from 24 to 26 February 2022 in the framework of the political leadership’s interest in youth.
