Within the framework of implementing the initiative of the President/ Abdul Fattah Al Sisi ”Sports is A National Security”, Faculty of Physical Education under the auspice of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the auspices of Dr. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of the University, and Dr. Muhammad Sobhi Hassanein, Deputy Minister of the Universities Sports Federation and Dr. Hisham El-Gyoshi, Secretary of the Universities Sports Federation.
Dr.Ayman Mahmoud Othman-Aswan University President stressed the importance of sports in the life of students and applied it as a lifestyle, today the fourth applying day is applied for the department of training and gymnastics within the initiative of His Excellency President of the Republic”Sports is A National Security” in the attendance of students of the university and the faculty of physical education in presenting artistic shows for students also the sporting shows and the final rehearsals for the opening ceremony of the border provinces in February month as well as students of SU faculty were honored and on the occasion of its winning with the election of the university and escalation of 3 students from the faculty in SU of Aswan University for the 1st time.
Dr. Adel Makky-Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education added that at the conclusion of the sporting day the academic staff of the department has been honored for their efforts and training to students of the faculty on art shows and formations Both dr. Mohamed Abdel Ghani, Coordinator of the Department of Exercise and Gymnastics and promoting him as Assistant Professor, Dr. Mohammed Abu Al-Hamad, Dr. Mahmoud Salah Yousra Adly, Dr. Hanan Amin, and Dr. Hanan Sami and demonstrators, Eng. Ibrahim Abdel Nasser, Eng.Shehanda Omar; the attendance was witnessed by Prof. Adel Mustafa, Professor of Exercise, Zagazig University, and heads of departments at the Faculty, Dr. Refaat Muhammad and Dr. Sherine Khairy and academic staff of the faculty, Dr. Mohamed Abed Dr. Mohamed Shamndi, Dr. Walid Rizk and Dr. Mohamed Hamed, coordinator of ”Students for Egypt” Dr. Mohamed Salah, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Razek, Dr. Marwa Zeidan and the assistant professors at the Faculty of Physical Education.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty, academic staff and their assistants, the workers of the university, and students offered their congratulations and appreciation to Prof. Ayman Othman-President of the University because of issuing the presidential decree about the employing of His Excellency as the President of Aswan University, wishing him good luck and success.
