Within the framework of implementing the initiatives of His Excellency the President of the Republic, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, “A New Beginning for Human Development” and “Sports is National Security,” and under the patronage of Prof. Louai Saad El-Din Nasrat, President of Aswan University, and Dr. Adel Mohamed Abdel Moneim Makki, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Aswan University announces the organization of the First Sports Law Forum, in joint cooperation between the Faculties of Sports Sciences and Law, on Sunday, May 4, at 11:00 AM, in Moshir Tantawi Hall.
The forum is aimed at students, graduates, and postgraduates in sports science colleges, coaches, sports administrators, and anybody interested in sports and legal concerns. A collection of professionals and specialists in law and sports, as well as notable academics and sports leaders, will take part.
The forum aims to :
-discuss the sports issues that are related to sports crimes.
– Increase awareness of sports legislation inside educational and sports institutions.
-support collaboration between law and sports specialists to promote a more disciplined and equitable sports environment.
In this context, Prof. Loai Saad Al-Din Nasrat-University President declared that organizing ”First Sports Law Forum” depends on our deep belief in the importance of building the Egyptian man through merging law knowledge with sports system. The law is the fort which protects sports principles and ensures the justice inside and outside playgrounds.
We hope that this forum will foster meaningful communication between legal professionals and sports specialists. We are delighted to host this gathering of professionals at Aswan University, which remains a scientific and cultural beacon in Southern Egypt.
Dr. Adel Mohamed Abdel Moneim Mekki, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Sciences, stated that sports are no longer just physical competitions, but rather an integrated system that necessitates a thorough legal understanding to protect rights and regulate relationships within sporting institutions. The First Sports Law Forum aims to raise awareness of the importance of sports law among students, coaches, and administrators. It also strengthens the Faculty of Sports Sciences’ role in preparing cadres to keep up with modern developments in the field.
