In frame of state and government institutions efforts to combat the Corona virus, Professor /Ahmed Ghalab Mohamad, Aswan University President, Inspected sterilization and spraying works carried out by the Aswan University according to the directions of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in cooperation with the Governorate and Directorate of Agriculture in Aswan.
Disinfection and sterilization works is still in progress according to the precautionary measures carried out by the university, whereas today, staff members, their assistants and employees transport means ware sprayed and sterilized according to University plan against corona virus and spraying all amphitheatres, laboratories and lecturers halls in Aswan Al-Gadeda headquarters in faculties of ( Medicine- Archeology – Arts- Law- Dar Al-Uloom- Alsun-Nursing) and also faculties of Abo El-Rish headquarter _ “Faculties of engineering and commerce and University hostel”
Prof/ Ahmed Ghallab announced that the university’s plan for distance learning is being implemented according to Ministry directives on the use of Distance learning “online” for undergraduate and postgraduate students and all university students, with uploading all courses electronically on university’s website up to date to avoid corona virus infection.
Prof. Ahmed Ghallab added that the university plan was sent to ministry after establishing the E-learning platform on university server through (moodle) system which implemented in stages, first of them collecting study content and then creating accounts on (moodle) system whether for Academic staff, their assistants or students.
This is to reach the stage at which the student can interact with the lecturer through e-learning platform and distance education of the university. And the university is committed to implement its plan according to directives of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific research and the Supreme Council of Universities. In the interest of our students and completing the educational system as fully as possible, in addition to our commitment with the plan, it will lead to the ability to follow and evaluate students and benefit from the experience.
