On Tuesday evening, Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed, President of Aswan University, witnessed that the activities of the presidential initiative “Sports National Security” were launched for the eighth consecutive week since it was launched at the beginning of the academic year October 17, 2020, under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Supreme Council of Universities.Which was organized by the College of Physical Education in cooperation with the Central Administration for Youth Welfare at the University Stadium under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of Dr. Subhi Muhammad Hassanein, Vice President of the Universities Sports Federation, and Dr. Hisham Al-Jyoushi, Secretary of the Federation.Dr. Ahmed Ghallab added that the presidential initiative, Sports, National Security, witnessed a number of sports and student activities, which is organized by the Department of Sports Administration at the College of Physical Education, coinciding with the celebration of the International Day for People with Special Needs, with the participation of private schools for people with special needs in the Directorate of Education and the Directorate of Youth and Sports through a number of Youth centers, the Nile Club for Arab Contractors and the Rowing Club, with the aim of participating with special needs in sports activities under the umbrella of the presidential initiative launched by Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Aswan University is working to provide the opportunity to practice sport, a right for everyone in Aswan, through the stadiums and sports facilities that Aswan University has enjoyed until It will be a nucleus for the sports infrastructure in Aswan, in addition to the University Sports Stadium, which will witness hosting some matches of the Egyptian League teams, while the Aswan Sports Club team will remain excellent.Dr. Adel Makki, Dean of the College of Physical Education stated that the activities of the Presidential Initiative, Sports, National Security, come every Sunday and Tuesday of every week on the university’s playgrounds, and the sporting events this week coincide with the International Day for People with Special Needs, which kicks off the activities of today, Tuesday, in the presence of a group of faculty members in the faculty, Dr. Walid Rizk and Dr. Mohamed Hamed in the Department of Sports Administration. Postgraduate students also participate, a diploma, a master’s. Ph.D. which includes cultural, recreational, and entertainment activities and an artistic sports show at Aswan University.
